Nikon D80 + MacBook Pro = Art

by Robb Sutton

Those of you that know me are already aware that I like to step away from reality every now and then and get behind the lens of my D80. I was drafting up blog posts last night and hanging out with the wife when this idea hit me.

We were clearing a table for dinner and I caught the reflection of the Apple logo off my MacBook Pro on the table. Like anyone who carries a camera around with them on a regular basis…I thought…hey, that’s a cool shot. So I grabbed the Nikon D80 and the Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 18-135mm1:3.5-5.6G ED lens to play around some. This is my favorite shot from the entire idea.

What surprises me on a regular basis is how photogenic Apple products really are. From the iMac to the iPhone, Apple takes an incredible amount of time focusing on form as well as function. Over the years, their products continue to look better and better. They tapped into an area of computing that I believe many overlook…we want our products to be an extension of who we are and what we stand for. The new laptop lineup from Apple is becoming as much of a fashion statement as they are useful products.
