I started doing professional automotive photography over 7 years ago and it has been a passion of mine from long before then. To be honest…I don’t like dealing with people. You’ll never see me at a wedding or doing portrait shots as it is something I really do not enjoy and that side of the business seems to come with more headaches than I can handle. There are people that are great at shooting people (not in the bad way) and that is awesome for them…it just isn’t me.
As you guys already know…my passion for cars runs deep. There isn’t a single car I have ever owned – race car or otherwise – that I have been able to keep stock. That made it so that automotive photography became a large passion of mine. While I did shoot cars for paying gigs for a long time…I have now decided that I would rather just do it for fun as I enjoy it a lot more than way.
Long story short, these are my 5 tips for epic automotive photography. I hope you enjoy the video and please subscribe if you found it useful.
