So what did you do this morning? When my two Boxers woke me up at 6:45 am on this beautiful Saturday morning, I decided to head outside and enjoy the sunrise while I worked on some blogging for the upcoming week. I took the dogs out with me so they could play for awhile and instead of working…I ended up taking some shots of them! So much for being productive……

I am not sure what I would do without my dogs. They are always a bright spot in my day and to watch them play is absolutely hilarious. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Boxers, they really do box. I swear my neighbors must think that we are running a Michael Vick dog fighting ring over here, but I promise they are just playing! This shot was taken while my male brindle Hans was “hunting” Hemi…our female. She was just sitting next to me watching as he inched closer and closer. As you can see by the lack of grass in our backyard, our dogs love chasing each other in circles until they are ready to fall over from exhaustion. I don’t think I’ll ever have grass, but it is worth it to watch my Boxers do their thing.

Shot was taken with a Nikon D80 and the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D AF Lens, and edited with Adobe Lightroom 2.
