I think that there is a balance between outsourcing the written content and having someone do the research for you so you can bang something together and personalize the post.

Outsourcing is a useful tool to gain some leverage especially if you are a full time employee like myself. I have come to understand that it is definitely difficult to pull through and make a killing on a blog right out of the gate (seeing as though I have made about $5.50 since I started about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I am definitely not one to talk about monetizing a blog)

I may even personally consider having someone provide me with useful research to allow me to expand what I am going to write about it. I have a lot of interests but no time to research.

By the way thank you for the free eBook and if possible I would really like to hear about posting images on a blog. I am always worried about copyrighting images and using them on my website.

I hear what you are saying. Like I said in the review…his approach will not be for everyone. I think there is a nice balance between diversifying your offerings on online (multiple blogs, products, etc.) and farming out content. It can be highly successful from a monetary standpoint but it is up to you to figure out if that is the route you want to take. The ebook does have some valuable information that can grow a single blog as well.

When you have that much information and sell that much product on the web…you are going to illicit the opinion of anyone and everyone. I once had a guy tell me he was going to own the whole first page of Google for keyword searches on my site saying how bad I was because I called him our for lying to his potential advertisers on his traffic (he was grossly over exagerating and claiming that is average pageviews per vistor was 80 pvs…when a simple background check on his site revealed he was getting no where near the traffic he was claiming).

Just comes with the territory sometimes I guess…

I’d be careful about who you throw your reputation in with, a cursory Google check on Rob Benwell doesn’t reveal flattering results at all.

Maybe you can chalk it up to people with sour grapes but there’s no need to go down that road at all. You’re already doing better than a guy like Benwell, getting product and revenue by running *legitimate* blogs.
